KKPC KOSYN KBR 01 Polybutadiene Rubber (High cis BR)
Subcategory: Elastomer, TS; Thermoset
Material Notes: Polybutadiene Rubber (High cis BR) Characteristics: Polybutadiene Rubber (BR), which has three kinds of bond structure of cis-1,4, trans-1,4, vinyl, is simple polymer made from 1,3-butadiene by solution polymerization, and it is classified to High cis BR and Low cis BR according to the cis-1,4 content. High cis BR containing over 94% cis-1,4 is superior in abrasion resistance, elasticity, age resistance and water resistance. As the secondary transition temperature is very low (about -100°C), it is most widely utilized together with SBR. Applications: Tires, shoes, belting, rubber hose, industrial rubber products. Additional Notes: Stabilizer: Non-Polluting cis-1,4 Contents: 95% Volatile Matter: 0.2% Ash Content: 0.2% This product is so sensitive to sunlight and humidity that it can be tarnished and caused deterioration of quality if exposed. It is recommended to store it in cool and shady area lest it should be exposed to direct sunlight. Do not expose to incompatible materials or contaminants.
