Material Notes: Class I/A rated thermoplastic sheet Applications: Interior ductwork and chutes, laboratory hoods, shower/tub shrouds, acoustical applications, decorative ceilings, abuse resistant surfacing for counters, exhibits, portions, doors Features: Kydex 150 is more resistant to a wider range of concentrated chemicals than any other thermoplastic. Its superior chemical resistance allow for excellent cleanability because stronger clearing agents can be sued with no discoloration or surface damage to the material. It is not available for field applied wallcovering applications. Flammability Properties: Flame Spread at 25 minutes. Fire Door at 20 minutes (ASTM E152). Fabrication: Kydex 150 has good formability and extensibility and is extremely easy to work with once formed. All secondary operations, such as sawing, shearing, punching, and brake forming are possible with Kydex 150 sheet. Data provided by the Kleerdex Company.
