Material Notes: Weatherable and decorative sheet Applications: Housings for equipment, recreation vehicles and truck parts, safety equipment, building products, signage, wall panels, facia, doors, service counters, exhibits. Features: Kydex 510 offers the properties of "Kydex" in a weatherable formulation. It is highly impact resistant as measure by the notched Izod impact test. Kydex 510 is fire retardant with a UL 94 V-0 rating as measured by independent test labs. Specifiers have selected Kydex sheet for surfacing and lamination applications because of its unique characteristics such as: low moisture absorption, resistance to chipping and cracking, excellent fabrication and matching properties, and flexibility. Fabrication: Excellent forming properties result in uniform wall thicknesses and crisp detail, plus easy machining and fabricating using conventional methods, further expanding finished part possibilities.
