Kydex® GND Acrylic/PVC Thermoplastic Sheet
Subcategory: Vinyl; Acrylic; Thermoplastic
Key Words: Polyvinylchloride; PMMA; Polymethylmethacrylate
Material Notes: Conductive fire-rated sheet Applications: Electronic equipment where protection against electro-static damage is essential, conductive floor mats, IC containers like trays, storage bins, boxes, chip carriers, tray divider, internal electronic equipment or components requiring a UL 94 V-0 rating Features: Unlike other conductive sheet grades, Kydex GND retains its conductance even after forming. For deep or hard to form parts, Kydex GND outperforms the competitive conductive sheet in thermoformability. It is very resistant to a broad range of chemicals, particularly to acids and bases. Kydex GND is very rigid. It meets the requirements of UL Standard 94 V-0. Fabrication: Kydex GND is easy to form and retains its conductive properties after forming. Excellent forming properties result in uniform wall thickness and crisp detail, plus easy machining and fabricating using conventional methods and equipment. Data provided by the Kleerdex Company.
