Crystallinity >50%. 2201 PET is a copolymer packaging resin with a nominal intrinsic viscosity of 0.82 dl/g engineered for heat set applications. 2201 resin has excellent melt and crystallization properties, offering easy processibility in injection molding and stretch-blow molding. Packaging made from this resin has excellent clarity and is noted for its dimensional stability, which prevents shrinkage and expansion of the container. It conforms to FDA Regulation 177.1630 for food contact and is widely used for single-serve beverage bottles, small liquor bottles, and other custom containers.
