Kraton® G1652 + PPE blend (20/80)
Subcategory: Elastomer, TPE; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Unmodified polypropylene has high rigidity and good heat resistance, but poor impact resistance, especially at low temperatures. Blending KRATON D and G polymers with PPE significantly improves the toughness at both room and low temperatures. KRATON polymers are block segments of styrene and rubber monomers (A-B, A-B-A, or [A-B]n). The KRATON G series are second generation block polymers in which the rubber monomer is a saturated olefin polymer, either ethylene/butylene or ethylene/propylene. Kraton G polymer grades manufactured in France are labled with an "E" for standard grades and "ES" for grades dusted with silica, for distribution in Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific. Information provided by the manufacturer, Kraton® Polymers.
