Kraton® FG1901 + Kraton® G1657 + PA-6,6 blend (16/4/80)
Subcategory: Elastomer, TPE; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Unmodified polypropylene has high rigidity and good heat resistance, but poor impact resistance, especially at low temperatures. Blending KRATON D and G polymers with PA significantly improves the toughness at both room and low temperatures. KRATON polymers are block segments of styrene and rubber monomers (A-B, A-B-A, or [A-B]n). The KRATON G series are second generation block polymers in which the rubber monomer is a saturated olefin polymer, either ethylene/butylene or ethylene/propylene. KRATON FG polymers are functionalized versions of the G series. Available in the U.S. only. Information provided by the manufacturer, Kraton® Polymers.
