Kraiburg THERMOLAST K® HT Series TC7HTT Transparent TPE, Outdoor Grade

Material Notes:

  • Transparent compounds with ideal UV resistance for outdoor applications
  • Substitute of silicone rubber or PVC
  • Nice design possibilities by coloring the compounds with a suitable polyolefin masterbatch

Typical Applications:

  • Outdoor sports/Outdoor games::
    • Water sports (e.g. flippers, snorkel, diving goggles, etc.)
    • Skiing (e.g. binding plates and etc.)

Material Advantages:

  • UV resistant (passed 450 hour sun test without yellowing)
  • Transparent
  • High elasticity
  • Particularly for parts with large thickness
  • East to color
  • Adhesion to polyolefins
  • 100% recyclable
  • Very good flow characteristics

Processing:

  • Like polyolefins
  • For ideal transparency a cool mold is recommended
  • Apply back pressure for parts with thick wall
