Kraiburg THERMOLAST K® ST/E Series TP8CDB Natural Extrusion TPE with Adhesion to PP

Material Notes:

  • Standard natural compound for extrusion
  • Substitute for PVC-P

Typical Applications:

  • Seals and sealing profiles for windows and doors (black and colored)
  • Coextrusion (hard/soft combinations)

Material Advantages:

  • Good physical properties
  • Adhesion to polyolefins
  • Smooth surface
  • Excellent weldability
  • No interaction with other materials (e.g. PVC-U, PP, PS, ABS, POM, PA, PC, PMMA)
  • Resistant to acrylic paints
  • PVC free
  • 100% recyclable
  • Easy to color

Processing:

  • Standard extruders (e.g. universal or polyolefin extruder 25D) are recommended
  • Screw must be able to provide sufficient shearing (breaker plate and screen pack are recommended)
  • Also injection molding possible
