Kuraray HD1, High Density Polyethylene / HYBRAR® Blend
Subcategory: Polyethylene; Elastomer, TPE; Thermoplastic; HDPE
Material Notes: Description: HYBRAR® is another in the series of new high performance thermoplastic rubbers developed by KURARAY using their unique isoprene technology. HYBRAR® is a special thermoplastic rubber which exhibits high vibration damping properties at room temperatures. Both hydrogenated and non-hydrogenated grades of HYBRAR® are available. In addition to the superior vibration damping properties, hydrogenated grades also exhibit excellent miscibility with polypropylene, and may be used to produce blends with excellent transparency, flexibility and mechanical properties.Blends of HYBRAR® and other polymers exhibit excellent vibration damping properties. Mixing Conditions: Brabender Plasticorder @ 200°C Molding Conditions: Press Molding @ 210°C Formulation (parts by weight): High Density Polyethylene - 80, HYBRAR® 5127 - 20 Information provided by The Kuraray Group.
