Material Notes: Description: Lapex R products are composed of polyphenylsulfone (PPSU). Lapex R is a high temperature resin distinguished by a superior combination of properties. It combines very high heat deflection temperature under load (210°C) together with excellent dimensional stability and resistance to creep at high temperatures. Lapex R features outstanding impact properties compared to other high temperature materials. Moreover PPSU offers a high degree of chemical resistance and it is suitable for virtually unlimited sterilization cycles. Lapex R is intrinsically flame retardant and maintains UL94 V0 rating at low wall thickness (0.8 mm).
