Material Notes:
Pearlthane® 11 series is based on Merquinsa`s proprietary polycaprolactone (PCL) technology. It offers a unique combination of key benefits vs. standard TPU polyesters:

  • Significant lower part cost because of intrinsic lower density and faster processing
  • Superior performance such as hydrolysis resistance, abrasion resistance and low temperature impact properties.

Performance polycaprolactone injection moulding grade with high mechanical strength, excellent wear resistance and improved hydrolysis resistance. Offering fast processing, high flow and favourable price/density ratio in a wide range of injection moulding applications.

Applications: Automotive parts, consumer electronics, animal ID tags, gasket & seals, mining screens, casual and sport shoe soles, soft TPE blend applications and overmoulding.
