Merquinsa Pearlthane® D16N85 Polyether based TPU

Material Notes:
Pearlthane® and Pearlcoat® grades of this series are used when superior hydrolysis resistance, outstanding low temperature flexibility or good microbiological protection is required. This polyether range is typically used for marine applications, geophysical cables and winter sport applications.

Wire and cables, hoses and film extrusion grade exhibiting low gels, low temperature flexibility, excellent hydrolysis and microbe resistance. UV version of this grade is also available: Pearlthane D16N85UV. Suitable also for specific injection moulding applications.

Applications: Injection moulding: Automotive parts, gasket & seals, mining screens, snow parts, goggles, and overmoulding.
Extrusion and compounding: Fire hoses, and breathable HMVT, elastic/barrier films, belts & profiles, transparent tubing, outdoor cables, and wire bound hoses.
Melt Coating: Inflatable items.
