Merquinsa Pearlthane® D11T85EM Polycaprolactone Copolyester based TPU
Subcategory: Polyurethane, TP; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Pearlthane® 11 series is based on Merquinsa`s proprietary polycaprolactone (PCL) technology. It offers a unique combination of key benefits vs. standard TPU polyesters:- Significant lower part cost because of intrinsic lower density and faster processing
- Superior performance such as hydrolysis resistance, abrasion resistance and low temperature impact properties.
Special polycaprolactone grade offering excellent PVC compatibility during the compounding processing.Applications: Extrusion and compounding: Elastic/barrier films, belts & profiles. Typically used for manufacturing tubes, transparent tubing and wire bound hoses. The values shown are typical values and should not be used for establishing specifications.
