Additives require a reassessment. Description: Pro-fax 6301 general purpose polypropylene homopolymer resin is available as natural flake. Flake from resin is well suited fro mixing with pigments and other additives to make polymer concentrates or materbatches. This resin has very minimal stabilization, which allows wide design latitude for the compounded. Additional suitable stabilization is required to protect the resin during melt processing and throughout its useful life. Pro-fax 6301 flake resin meets FDA requirements in the Code of Federal Regulations in 21 CFR 177.1520 for all food contact, including cooking applications. Please note that any additives compounded into this resin will require a reassessment of its FDA status. All ingredients meet the chemical registration requirements of TSCA and DSL.
