| Montell Valtec HH442H Polypropylene Homopolymer, Ultra High Melt Flow  Subcategory: Polypropylene; Thermoplastic Close Analogs: Basell is the successor company to Montell. Material Notes: Primary Processing Method: Melt-Blown Fiber Extrusion
Key Features: ultra-high melt flow polypropylene homopolymer resin, FDA acceptable, prolongs die life, allows spinning of fine denier fibers to make a softer non woven fabric with higher tensile strength, saves energy Applications: melt-blown fibers, mineral-reinforced compounded products, color concentrates Meets FDA requirements in 21 CFR 177.1520 for food contact in film and fiber applications, including cooking. Description: Valtec HH442H ultra-high melt flow, narrow molecular weight polypropylene homopolymer resin is suitable for melt-blown fiber extrusion applications. This material is available in spherical particle form. This base polymer's narrow molecular weight distribution promotes thread line continuity and reduces fly or lint. Its high melt flow allows reduced processing temperatures that save energy. This resin meets FDA requirements in the Code of Federal Regulations in 21 CFR 177.1520 for food contact in film and fiber applications, including cooking. All ingredients meet the chemical registration requirements of TSCA and DSL. Information provided by Montell Polyolefins.
