Key Features: high melt strength polypropylene medium impact copolymer for extrusion coating, uniform coatings as thin as 0.3 mills, pin hole resistant, good moisture barrier properties, low odor and taste transfer, complete void fill on woven and non-woven substrates, FDA acceptable, alternative to PF-611 resin, excellent gauge control

Applications: coated slit tape for bags, banner stock and building wraps, coatings on woven and non-woven substrates, coated spun-bonded and melt blown fabrics for industrial and consumer applications, flexible packaging

Meets FDA requirements in 21 CFR 177.1520 for all food contact, including cooking applications.

Description: Pro-fax SD812 high melt strength polypropylene copolymer resin is designed for extrusion coating behavior. It may also be used as an alternative to HMS homopolymer when heat seal capability is needed. This resin meets FDA requirements in the Code of Federal Regulations in 21 CFR 177.1520 for all food contact, including cooking applications. All ingredients meet the chemical registration requirements of TSCA and DSL.
