Montell Adflex KS-358P TPO Resin
Subcategory: Thermoplastic
Close Analogs: Basell is the successor company to Montell.
Material Notes:
Key Features: thermoplastic olefin resin for film and sheet extrusion or compounding, no slip, no antiblock, minimal stabilization, good heat sealability, good puncture resistance, plasticizer-free, excellent low temperature impact resistance, excellent chemical and environmental stress-cracking resistance, FDA acceptable Applications: medical packaging, trash bags, stationery, sheet, films, compounding Meets FDA requirements in 21 CFR 177.1520 for all food contact, except for certain fatty foods. Description: Adflex KS-358P thermoplastic olefin resin is designed for a variety of extrusion and compounding applications, calendared and extruded sheet, monolayer and multilayer air quenched blown films, or as a modifier of LDPE or LLDPE reins. It is based on proprietary Montell process technology and can be used on conventional PVC calendaring equipment, sheet extruders and LLDPRE and HDPE fill extrusion equipment. This resin has no slip or anitblock and only minimal stabilization in order to allow wider designed latitude of the compounded. Additional suitable stabilization is recommended to protect the resin during melt processing and throughout its useful life. This resin meets FDA requirements in the Code of Federal Regulations in 21 CFR 177.2600 for all food contact, except for certain fatty foods. All ingredients meet the chemical registration requirements of TSCA and DSL. Information provided by Montell Polyolefins.
