Montell Astryn CA743GA Polypropylene Copolymer
Subcategory: Polypropylene; Thermoplastic
Close Analogs: Basell is the successor company to Montell.
Material Notes:
Key Features: low melt flow, low modulus, UV-stabilized polypropylene copolymer with antiblock, good heat seamability, good puncture resistance, plasticizer-free, excellent low temperature impact resistance, excellent chemical and environmental stress-cracking resistance, pelletize resin Applications: geomembranes, sheet All ingredients meet TSCA (US) and DSL (Canada) registration requirements. Description: Astryn CA74GA low melt flow, UV-stabilized, flexible polypropylene copolymer with antiblock is designed for geomembranes. It is based on proprietary Montell process technology and sheet made from it can be blown, slot die-extruded or calendared, with or without scrim, into a final form. This UV-stabilized, pelletized resin, when blended with an N-110 carbon black polyolefin carrier masterbatch to a concentration of 2.75% by weight carbon black in the finished product, provides exceptional weatherability. All ingredients meet the chemical registration requirements of TSCA and DSL. Information provided by Montell Polyolefins.
