Material Notes: Description: Adsyl™ 7221 XCP is a new thermoplastic polyolefin which has been designed as a BOPP material for the small item shrink film market, offering a high shrink performance. This material is suitable for monolayer, as well as for coextruded structures in combination with Adsyl™ 5 C 37 F. It features a high clarity and gloss, a low haze, an excellent seal integrity, a wide hot-tack range and an excellent seal strength. It has a Seal Initiation Temperature (SIT) range of 105° - 108°C measured on a 30 µm cast film. It already contains a package of slip and anti-blocking agents. Adsyl™ 7221 XCP can be processed on double bubble equipment and on special stenter technologies for shrink film. The composition of the product complies with FDA norms and with regulations in force in major European countries, concerning food contact applications.
