Material Notes: Description: Hifax™ DR279 high melt flow, 1,200 MPa flexural modulus, paintable thermoplastic elastomeric olefin (TEO) resin has a unique balance of stiffness, impact resistance, processability and paintability. It was designed for challenging large part automotive applications that require structural and low temperature impact performance. Features include excellent impact/stiffness balance, excellent moldfilling capability, and excellent paintability and paint durability. Typical applications include painted automotive thin-walled bumper fascias and high impact, large interior part components. Uses: Fascias, Automotive interior parts Information provided by Basell.
