Basell Pro-fax™ PF623 Polypropylene Homopolymer
Subcategory: Polypropylene; Thermoplastic; Polymer
Material Notes: Description: Pro-fax™ PF623 high melt strength polypropylene homopolymer resin is used as a melt strength enhancer additive in extrusion applications. Pro-fax™ PF623 resin can improve extrusion and melt processability by increasing melt curtain stability and reducing surging and melt resonance. This results in more uniform draw at higher processing rates. When blended with other polymers, Pro-fax™ PF623 resin can impart higher service temperature and higher stiffness. Pro-fax™ PF623 resin meets FDA requirements in the Code of Federal Regulations in 21 CFR 177.1520 for all food contact, including cooking applications. All ingredients in Pro-fax™ PF623 resin meet the chemical registration requirements of TSCA (U.S.) and DSL (Canada). Uses: Film, coating applications Information provided by Basell.
