Basell Pro-fax™ SV951S Polypropylene Copolymer
Subcategory: Polypropylene; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Description: Pro-fax™ SV951S resin is available in sphere form. Sphere form resin is well suited for mixing with pigments and other additives to make polymer concentrates or masterbatches. This resin has very minimal stabilization, which allows wide design latitude for the compounder. Additional suitable stabilization is required to protect the resin during melt processing and throughout its useful life. This resin is designed for applications requiring high flow and stiffness, with a moderate level of impact resistance. Pro-fax™ SV951S flake resin meets FDA requirements in the Code of Federal Regulations, 21 CFR 177.1520, for food contact, including cooking applications. Please note that any additives compounded into this resin will require a re-assessment of its FDA status. All ingredients in Pro-fax™ SV951S resin meet the chemical registration requirements of TSCA (U.S.) and DSL (Canada). Uses: Compounding Information provided by Basell.
