Custom Resins Nylene® PX3422 Nylon 6, Impact Extrusion Grade
Subcategory: Nylon; Thermoplastic; Nylon 6
Close Analogs: Data provided by the manufacturer
Key Words: Polyamide 6
Material Notes: Dry as molded. Film Grade. Nylene PX3422 is a heat stabilized, high impact modified nylon resin designed for maximum toughness with minimum sacrifice in tensile strength and melting point. PX3422 offers
outstanding elongation and good retention of that elongation after 5 days of heat aging at 177
ºC (95% elongation). Optimum processing conditions should provide a melt temperature of
490 - 530ºF at the die.
