Custom Resins Nylene® 453 Nylon 6, 50% RH
Subcategory: Nylon; Thermoplastic; Nylon 6
Close Analogs: Data provided by the manufacturer
Key Words: Polyamide 6
Material Notes: Injection molding grade. Nylene 453 is a UV stabilized, high viscosity nylon resistant to degradation by ultraviolet light. The elevated quality of UV resistance provided by 453 is attributed to highly uniform
dispersion of 2% carbon black. With cylinder temperatures of 525 - 550ºF and mold
temperatures of 140 - 160ºF, Nylene 453 can be molded into parts having a uniform, glossy
appearance.
