Custom Resins Nylene® 607 Nylon 6, Extrusion Grade
Subcategory: Nylon; Thermoplastic; Nylon 6
Close Analogs: Data provided by the manufacturer
Key Words: Polyamide 6
Material Notes: Dry as molded. Extrusion grade. Nylene 607 is a very high viscosity extrusion resin having an ASTM relative viscosity of 800. Nylene 607 has excellent structural strength, durability, and physical properties. It has good
melt strength and good draw-down properties which promote dimensional control for
extrusion of pipe, tubing, film, and sheet. It is particularly recommended for the extrusion of
thick slab, large rod stock, and large complex profiles. Optimum processing conditions should
permit for a melt temperature of 550 - 575ºF at the die.
