Custom Resins Nylene® NX4301 Nylon 6, Extrusion Grade
Subcategory: Nylon; Thermoplastic; Nylon 6
Close Analogs: Data provided by the manufacturer
Key Words: Polyamide 6
Material Notes: Dry as molded. Extrusion grade. Nylene NX4301 is a high viscosity, UV stabilized extrusion grade nylon resistant to degradation by ultraviolet light. The elevated quality of UV resistance is attributed to highly
uniform dispersion of 2% carbon black. With an ASTM viscosity of 200, NX4301 has very
good melt flow and melt strength characteristics which are important for profile extrusion.
Optimum processing conditions should permit for a melt temperature of 550 - 575ºF at the
die.
