Material Notes:
This grade is a fire retardant molding grade typically used for medium-density foam applications. It consists of spherical polystyrene particles (beads) containing an expanding agent, pentane and an internal flame retardant additive.

Applications: This is a fire retardant molding grade. It is used for the producing block at medium densities, which are subsequently cut into board. It is also used for contour molding with wall thickness greater than 10 mm. Compared with standard STYROCELL grades, EF543C offers more controllable pre-expansion, short maturing times and fast cycle time during molding.

This grade should not be used for food contact applications.
