Noveon STAT-RITE® X-5091 Ether-Type Static Dissipative Polymer
Subcategory: Elastomer, TPE; Polyurethane, TP; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Description: Inherently dissipative, this patented technology delivers surface resistivity in the range of 10E8 to 10E10 O/square. Stat-Rite® IDP Polymers forms a molecular-scale, interpenetrating polymer network which carries charge. The polymeric charge carriers are permanent over time even through customer processing in injection molding or extrusion. The fundamental Estane® TPU backbone dominates in property performance. Stat-Rite® IDP (Inherently Dissipative Polymer) is a homogeneous polymer which lends itself to consistent voltage decay throughout the matrix of a finished product. Conversely alternative technologies including the use of fillers or additives can off-gas, migrate, or slough-off causing contamination at a minimum and slow or inconsistent ESD protection. Stat-Rite® IDP Elastomer Alloys are based upon TPU providing the ultimate mechanical durability, low temperature flexibility and permanent ESD protection.Major Benefits of Stat-Rite® IDP Elastomer Alloys: - Permanent static dissipation
- Ultra-clean
- Low off-gassing; low ionics
- Clarity
- No particulates
- TPU performance
Applications: - Clean room soft walls, windows, and doors
- Materials handling hose and tubing
- Vacuum hose and tubing
- Work surface mats
