Petromont HDPE 3100
Subcategory: Polyethylene; Thermoplastic; HDPE; Polymer; Injection Molding
Key Words: Food grade, pails, industrial parts, shipping containers
Material Notes: Petromont HDPE 3100 is a high density polyethylene resin produced using the UNIPOL® Process. This resin is intended for injection moulding of high performance products such as pails, industrial parts and other shipping containers. It has been designed to meet the rigorous performance characteristics of stackability, environmental stress crack resistance and impact strength without any sacrifice to the moulder in processability.Petromont HDPE 3100 is a medium, molecular weight hexene-modified copolymer resin with a very narrow molecular weight distribution. By balancing properties such as density, molecular weight and molecular weight distribution results in outstanding properties of impact strength, stress crack resistance and low warpage while maintaining excellent mouldability. Parts moulded from Petromont HDPE 3100 exhibit high gloss, low odour and are suitable for food packaging applications.
