Material Notes: Petromont HDPE 4101 is a high density polyethylene copolymer resin produced using the UNIPOL® Process. This resin is primarily used in the extrusion of corrugated pipes for drainage applications, for sewer pipes and for a wide range of profile extrusion applications. It has been specifically designed for corrugated pipes with the addition of colour concentrates.Petromont HDPE 4101 complies with the material requirements specified by AASHTO M 294. When mixed with an appropriate carbon black masterbatch, Petromont HDPE 4101 black meets the CSA B182.8 standard for use in profile storm sewer pipe and fabricated fittings.
