Material Notes: Peroxide cured, blue-violet Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer, 65-75 °IRHD. Terpolymer of ethylene, propylene and diene monomers. Specially formulated for sealing applications involving high voltage electrical equipment.Applications: For sealing sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) gas in electrical distribution equipment, i.e. medium & high voltage switchgear, also scientific equipment such as X-ray generators, electrostatic particle accelerators and electron microscopes. The specially selected fillers used in this compound provide excellent electrical non-conductive properties to the rubber.
