Material Notes: Polyacrylic or Polyacrylate Rubber, 55-65 °IRHD. Copolymer of ethyl acrylate and vinyl ether. ASTM & ISO designation = ACM.Applications: Extensively used in automotive transmission systems. Superior resistance to heat and deterioration by hot hydraulic oil, when compared to nitrile rubber. Resistance to weathering and ozone is good, but resistance to water is relatively poor.
