Material Notes: Translucent Silicone Rubber, 66-75 °IRHD. Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. ASTM & ISO designation = VMQ. Silicone compound in conformity with USP class VI. Formulated using only those ingredients authorized by BGA XVA and FDA CFR21 Section 177.2600. Extraction tested. Also complies to the requirements of USP VI, NF20, 2002.Applications: Excellent mechanical, physical and chemical stability over the temperature range of -40º to +180ºC. Excellent behaviour when sterilised. High transparency grade, intended for food contact, pharmaceutical and biomedical applications.
