Material Notes:
PREADD AF 134 is a polyethylene based antifog masterbatch developed for polyolefines. The active additive in PREADD AF 134 is glycerol oleate. PREADD AF 134 does not affect the mechanical properties or the clarity of the film. Typical applications where PREADD AF 134 is being used in are such as lids in the food packaging industry.

The addition level of PREADD AF 134 in the product should be tested in advance in order to reach the desired antifogging effect with the polymer used. The effect is dependent on time, humidity and the thickness of the product.

PREADD AF 134 is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to FDA regulations without limitations and according to BgVV regulations, as long as the dosage level of PREADD AF 134 is less than 40 %.
