Material Notes:
PREADD UV 117 is a PE-LD based masterbatch giving very good UV-protection to PE-LD. The active ingredient consists of HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer), which gives the most effective light stabilization effect even at low dosages. PREADD UV 117 is recommended for thin applications, such as films and tapes, and it has no effect on sealability.

PREADD UV 117 is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to FDA and BgVV regulations as long as the dosage is less than 1.6 %.
