Material Notes:
Premi-Glas® 1200-28 series is a low profile, 28 % glass reinforced polyester Sheet Molding Compound designed for recreational vehicle body panels applications that require excellent flexibility and impact strength. Key features and benefits are:

  • In-mold and powder coating capable, accepts standard automotive primers and top coats.
  • Molded panels have increased resiliency for improved impact properties.
  • Pigmentable system provides uniform base colors for exterior and interior applications.
  • Molds in deep draw, 0 shrink production tooling.
  • Class A surface with exceptionally low process times in compression molding.
  • Standard glass content is 28 %.
