Material Notes:
Premi-Glas® 8101-11C is a 11percent glass reinforced thermoset, bulk molding compound designed for injection molded automotive forward lighting applications. Key features and benefits are:

  • Exhibits excellent dimensional stability and heat resistance.
  • Outstanding thermal stability permits smaller, low profile reflector designs.
  • Designed for high speed, automated injection processes.
  • Compatible with UV-curable base coats which are required for vacuum metallization.
  • Available in fiberglass reinforcement from 10-22 percent. Standard reinforcement content is 11 percent.
  • Processes in cold manifolds and hot sprue molds.
  • Molds on conventional screw and plunger injection machines.
  • Approved to GM 7001M UP, MG 2600.
  • Standard colors are gray and black.
