Chevron EA3300 High Heat Crystal Polystyrene
Subcategory: Polystyrene; Thermoplastic
Key Words: PS
Material Notes: Description Chevron EA3300 is a high molecular weight homopolymer polystyrene that has low residual monomer content, low gel count and excellent clarity. The high vicat softening point of this resin allows parts produced with this resin to be used at elevated service temperatures. EA3300 complies with Food Additive Regulation 21CFR177.1640 for polystyrene, which states that such materials may be safely used in contact with foods. Applications Typical applications for this resin is extruded biaxially-oriented sheet for thermoforming into salad containers, cookie and candy trays, etc.Information provided by Chevron Phillips Chemical Company.
