Chevron EA6740 Rubber Modified Polystyrene
Subcategory: Polystyrene; Thermoplastic
Key Words: PS
Material Notes: Description Chevron EA6740 is a high impact polystyrene material developed for packaging applications. Its processing characteristics make EA6740 excellent for extrusion and deep-draw thermoforming. This material provides good surface smoothness, moderately high heat distortion and excellent practical toughness. The excellent elongation and flexibility properties make EA6740 superior to most common extrusion grades in practical toughness. Applications Chevron EA6740 is recommended for such applications as ice cream containers, container lids, cups for hot and cold drinks, conical cup liners, individual portion containers, dairy containers, box liners and medical trays.
