Material Notes: Description Chevron EB6750 is a general purpose, high impact polystyrene material developed for packaging applications. Its processing characteristics make EB6750 suitable for extrusion and deep-draw thermoforming. This material provides good surface smoothness, moderately high heat distortion and excellent practical toughness. Chevron EB6750 natural complies with Food Additive Regulation 21CFR177.1640 for polystyrene and rubber modified polystyrene, which states that such materials may be safely used in contact with foods. Applications Chevron EB6750 is recommended for such applications as custom sheet extrusion, cups for hot and cold drinks, conical cup liners, individual portion containers, dairy containers, box liners and medical trays.Information provided by Chevron Phillips Chemical Company.
