Sterigenics Raprex® R-200 Branched High Density Polyethylene
Subcategory: Polyethylene; Thermoplastic; HDPE
Material Notes: Applications: Injection Molding and ExtrusionRAPREX® R-200 is a high density polyethylene based resin that exhibits an excellent balance of melt processability and physical properties due to its unique branched structure. This structure is acheived through irradiation of the polymer. It is a thermoplastic and is fully recyclable. Due to its high molecular weight and shear sensitivity, RAPREX® R-200 is used for injection molding. Because of its high melt strength, it is also used for films, extrusion coating and foam applications. Raprex® R-200 contains a robust stabilization package providing excellent melt stability as well as long-term heat aging.
