Resin Technology Group UV-403 High Clarity, Structural Polycarbonate and PVC Bonder
Subcategory: Adhesive; Thermoset
Material Notes: UV 403 is a very fast UV curing adhesive developed for bonding a variety of plastics. Bond strengths on polycarbonate and rigid PVC usually exceed the strength of those substrates. Bond lines are clear, colorless and exhibit low shrinkage during the cure process. UV 403 forms excellent bonds to most metals and glass surfaces for dissimilar applications. Applications: Lens bonding, back-filling electro-opto devices, potting LED’s, medical devices, costume jewelry. Processing: UV light cure: Intensity of 200 mw/cm2; Spectral output of 300 to 500 nanometers; Optimum wavelength of 375 nanometers Recommended Aurora UV light sources: - Aurora 455-S 5x5 High Intensity Flood
- Aurora 461-S 1x6 High Intensity Beam
- Aurora 100-S Spot Light Guide
