Resin Technology Group UV-406 High Clarity, Moisture Resistant, UV Curing Bonder
Subcategory: Adhesive; Thermoset
Material Notes: UV 406 is a rapidly curing UV adhesive developed for use in bonding a variety of plastics, glass and metals, where moisture resistance and low shrinkage during cure is critical. Bond strengths on polycarbonate and rigid and flexible PVC usually exceed the strength of those substrates. UV 406 has excellent wetting capabilities. Bond lines are clear and colorless. Applications: Decal plates, Fiberoptic bonding, Globtop coating, Glass assembly, Head lamps, Micro-Electronic encapsulation. Processing: UV light cure: Intensity of 200 mw/cm2; Spectral output of 300 to 500 nanometers; Optimum wavelength of 375 nanometers Recommended Aurora UV light sources: - Aurora 455-S 5x5 High Intensity Flood
- Aurora 461-S 1x6 High Intensity Beam
