Resin Technology Group TIGA 159 LV-UV Low Viscosity, Quick Gel UV Initiated, Flexible Epoxy Adhesive
Subcategory: Epoxy; Adhesive; Thermoset
Material Notes: Mix ratio 2 to 1 by volume. TIGA 159 LV-UV hybrid epoxy system is a low viscosity adhesive designed for small potting applications, bonding, laminating, sealing and structural repair applications where outstanding shock and peel resistance are required. TIGA 159 LV-UV can be gelled to a tack free, non-flow state with a few seconds of exposure to moderate UV light and then fully cured at room temperature or rapidly at elevated temperatures. The fully cured system develops strong, tough, high performance bonds to metals, ceramics, phenolics, polyesters, epoxies, urethanes and many other plastics. It is a durable, electrically insulating adhesive which provides good resistance to gases, vapors, petroleum solvents, fuels, salt solutions, mild acids and alkalis.
