Resin Technology Group UV MX-2230 Quick Fixture, Activator Cured, One-Component, Acrylic Adhesive
Subcategory: Adhesive; Thermoset
Material Notes: UV MX 2230 is a one-component acrylate based polymer designed to be used as a quick-fixture, surface activated adhesive, (with optional UV or oven cure), for applications on a variety of substrates where two surfaces can be mated together. This easy to use formulation can be fixtured in seconds after exposure to UV MX 2230 Surface Activator. After gel, (usually in less than one to two minutes), the product can withstand mild handling and defixturing. A secondary heat cure or UV cure is optional to complete the polymerization process, yielding a product with good dimensional stability, excellent chemical resistance and outstanding bond strength. Applications: Ideal for those applications that require the on-line fixture speed of an activated acrylic and the versatility of a conventional; one-part cure. Processing: UV light cure: Intensity of 200 mw/cm2; Spectral output of 300 to 500 nanometers; Optimum wavelength of 375 nanometers Recommended Aurora UV light sources: - Aurora 455-S 5x5 High Intensity Flood
- Aurora 461-S 1x6 High Intensity Beam
- Aurora 100-S Spot Light Guide
