The gas barrier property of Soarnol is about forty times better than that of nylon, therefore, Soarnol allows design of lower cost packages by using a thin gas barrier layer without loss of shelf life.

Soarnol DC3212 with high melt flow index is one of the standard grade of Soarnol, its ethylene content is 32 mol%. Since Soarnol DC3212 has excellent gas barrier property, this resin is suited for coextruded film and coextrusion coating. This resin can also be used in coextruded pipe.
