Solvay Engineered Polymers NEXPRENE® 1340D TPV - NSF Grade
Subcategory: Elastomer, TPE; Polypropylene; Thermoplastic; Thermoplastic Vulcanizate Elastomer (TPV)
Material Notes: Description: NEXPRENE® 1340D thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) is a fully cross-linked EPDM/PP compound designed to replace thermoset elastomers, such as polychloroprene (Neoprene) or EPDM, and conventional thermoplastic rubber. NEXPRENE 1300 grades comply with FDA and NSF/ANSI Standard 61. NEXPRENE rubber provides the advantage of low cost thermoplastic processing, such as injection molding, extrusion and blowmolding. Applications: NEXPRENE 1300 grades are suitable for potable water material components such as valves, gaskets, peristaltic pump tubes, diaphragms, tubing and seals.
