Material Notes: Fortiflex® K44-24-123 is a black high density polyethylene copolymer designed specifically for pipe extrusion. It has NSF certification for potable water applications and is recognized by the Plastics Pipe Institute as having a PE3408 rating. The natural version of this resin is available as Fortiflex® K44-24-122. 2.5% Carbon Black Concentration This product information was provided by Solvay Polymers, now a part of the BP Solvay Polyethylene North America joint venture (Nov. 2001).
