Ineos HDPE K46-04-174U
Subcategory: Polyethylene; Thermoplastic; HDPE; Polymer
Close Analogs: Innovene is a wholly owned subsidiary of BP Group. The polypropylene and polyethylene products of BP Amoco have been moved to the Innovene Division in 2005. BP Amoco acquired the Fortiflex® Polyethylene product line from Solvay Polymers in November 2001.
Key Words: High molecular weight; high ESCR and impact strength
Material Notes: A natural, high molecular weight, high density, ultra-violet light stabilized copolymer polyethylene developed for large and medium sized containers. This material exhibits excellent environmental stress cress resistance (ESCR), excellent weathering resistance, superior drop resistance and excellent impact properties. UV stabilization offers enhanced but not limitless protection against sunlight. K46-04-174 combines good processability, high melt strength and outstanding physical performance. This material meets the Food and Drug Administration requirements of 21CFR 177.1520. This resin is Kosher certified.
